What you need to know about our marble table tops :-

Each marble top is made with compounded marble stone, this is marble stone that is ground up to form the exact shape with a vein pattern applied which keeps the vein consistent, then a thick lacquer is then applied to protect it and ensure it’s non porous. Marble is inherently a porus stone it will absorb colours and liquids etc however the lacquer on this table top prevents this and helps keeping it looking nicer for longer. This compounded marble is what is commonly used in Kitchens and Bathrooms as it is a lot more practical and can be used better in a busy environment rather than a "slab" of marble.
